Hypnosis accesses the long term memory which is where the body’s control center is. It is here that new direction can be given which positively changes how the digestive system operates. It can be retrained to process nutrition more productively and healthfully.

IBS is a nerve wracking ordeal effecting clients physically, emotionally and spiritually. They often feel like prisoners in their own bodies. With hypnotherapy levels of stressful anticipation can be greatly reduced and new patterns of control and empowerment are fostered which puts the client back in the driver’s seat.

IBS hypnotherapy has been researched for 30 years and stands alone as the most significant long term symptom relief solution. The success rates are consistently high ranging from 70-95% and relief usually lasts at least two years.

Treatment includes a series of 6-12 office visits ranging over a 3-6 month time frame. The hypnosis sessions are personalized to individual needs and prepared by a medical professional certified as an IBS specialist.

Clients learn about digestive function, healthier nutritional choices and the mind-body connection. They receive an in depth review of how hypnosis works and how to perform self-hypnosis so they may go on to become self-practitioners, ensuring a lifetime of symptom free living.

Clients receive an introduction to hypnosis audio cd and fill out an intake form prior to beginning sessions. This way they are informed and relaxed and we have the necessary information to meet their needs. Clients also receive a free recording of each session which they listen to at home.

Insurance companies do not include hypnotherapy as a covered intervention so clients should expect to be responsible for the full cost of sessions. We do accept all major credit cards and you can click here to get information on office rates.
