Paul has ten years of medical experience as a registered nurse and has been a certified clinical hypnotist and IBS specialist for over ten years. He has contributed to national publications, been featured on TV's Chronicle, WBZ radio, hosts the popular TV show, Healthy Hypnosis, and has also written Healthy Hypnosis: The Simple Truth and Practical Use.   

What type of patients can I refer?

Paul specializes in assisting individuals with symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, chronic pain, hypertension, obesity, smoking, stress, substance abuse, warts, surgical prep, sadness, headaches, phobias, insomnia, and anger.

How does referral process work?

Call (888-290-3972) or email your patient’s goal, his or her contact information, and your fax number.  For physician based referrals, Paul will fax you a consent form which you will then sign and return. Then Paul will contact individual to review their needs and schedule initial session.

What services will my patient receive?

Paul will conduct a thorough intake evaluation to learn the details of problem and desired goal. He will review what hypnosis is and how your patient can maximize experience. Paul will also teach self-hypnosis, when an individual owns the process his or her chance of success is greatly enhanced. Then he will conduct the formal hypnosis session. Your patient will receive an audio file reviewing self-hypnosis as well as cd of formal session for home reinforcement.
